16 women

The project is dedicated to #16daysactivism. A global campaign “16 days of activism against gender-based violence”. For this project, I’ve interviewed women with real-life violence stories. The project took 3+ months of research and creating visuals.

The idea of choosing a Glitch in every work was made with a purpose, as a Glitch symbolizes a mistake in reality that those women went through. Violence acts like radiation. In the same way, radiation is knocking out details of DNA, and so is violence. It is hard to find yourself and get together broken pieces after you were treated violently.
