About

Hi, I’m Maria Kazvan—a Photographer, Videographer, and Graphic Designer based in Gdynia, Poland.

Originally from Lviv, Ukraine, I was born in 1989 and spent over two years living in Toronto, Canada. I recently moved to Gdańsk, Poland, in October 2024.

I hold a master’s degree in Journalism from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. My artistic vision is deeply inspired by human psychology, mystical practices, folklore, and my life experiences. My work centers on creating long-term, concept-driven projects featuring vivid, high-quality imagery. Through my love for experimentation with media, objects, and techniques, I create photography, videography, stop-motion videos, and performances that blend surrealism with elements of magic realism.

In my graphic design projects, I work closely with clients to develop unique solutions that ensure their brand stands out in the market. My goal is to make clients fully visible and recognizable, crafting brand identities that reflect their values and resonate with their audience. When creating brand images, I delve deeply to uncover the ideal symbols and elements that embody each client’s essence.
